Currently, we have a breaking news update from Greenville County where SLED is conducting an investigation into a shooting incident involving a deputy. The incident occurred recently on Carver Street near Old Easley Highway. Sheriff Hobart Lewis has informed that the SWAT team was dispatched to a residence at approximately 3:00 PM today. During the course of events, the suspect reportedly acquired a weapon and was subsequently shot by a deputy.
