Parts of Loop 101 in Scottsdale were closed on Sunday night due to an ongoing investigation of a shooting incident.
Two individuals were injured and transported to the hospital after being shot on the side of the freeway.
The incident occurred near Raintree Drive, and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) is currently investigating the case.
Police activity in the area and heavy traffic were observed, and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announced the closure of Northbound lanes between Cactus Road and Raintree Drive due to a law enforcement situation.
