Severe storms struck several communities in the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast, causing flooding and vehicle incidents.

The heavy downpours led to standing water on roadways and parking lots, including the one next to Lake Worth Road where the entire parking lot was submerged.

Lightning strikes were frequent and intense, prompting some drivers to pull over on the shoulder of I-95.

However, there were no reports of incidents or rescues by local fire departments in Saint Lucie County, Martin County, and Palm Beach County.

Residents are advised to stay indoors during extreme weather conditions to ensure their safety.
