Senator Kirsten Gillibrand visited Corning today to explain the benefits of The Pact act for veterans who have been exposed to toxic burn pits and other toxins.

The act, which was passed in 2022, aims to help veterans from Vietnam, Gulf War, and Post 9/11 eras who were exposed to toxins during those conflicts.

The VA is now screening all veterans for potential exposure to toxins during their military service, and expanded coverage is available for those who need care or have been denied claims.
