A second body has been recovered from the Salt River in Phoenix, according to local police.

They believe the body belongs to the second kayaker who went missing last weekend near 19th Avenue and Broadway.

The body was found near 71st Avenue by the Salt River.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner is still working to determine the cause of death and identify the body.

The first missing person, 38-year-old Shane Coats, was found yesterday near 19th Avenue.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
