Search Continues for Missing Teenager from Delaware County
Search crews are set to resume their efforts on Monday in finding 14-year-old Scottie Morris, who has been missing since Thursday.
The search has been ongoing since he disappeared, with more than a hundred people coming together over the weekend to help in the search efforts.
Tools like infrared drones, boats, and search dogs have been utilized in the search, but so far, there has been no luck in finding Scottie.
Indiana State Police issued a statewide silver alert for Scottie on Friday, stating that he could be in extreme danger.
The police described Scottie as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing black shoes, red and black shorts, and a white T-shirt on Indiana Avenue in Eaton, which is about 20 minutes north of Muncie in Delaware County.
The Eaton Police Chief, Jay Turner, stated that it was an all-hands-on-deck situation over the weekend, with search crews utilizing all the tools at their disposal, including helicopters from the State Police.
The case remains active, and police urge anyone with information on Scottie’s whereabouts to contact the Eaton police or call 911.
The search will continue on Monday, with crews starting at the Eaton Police Department.
The authorities are hoping for a breakthrough soon in finding Scottie and bringing him home safely.
