The search for three missing American women in Mexico has continued for almost three weeks, with concerns that cartels may be involved in their disappearance.
Texas DPS Lt.
Chris Olivarez spoke about the case, highlighting that there are over 550 Americans currently reported missing in Mexico.
He stated that there is little information about the missing women, but highlighted the prevalence of unreported cases and the danger posed by cartels in such situations.
When asked about speculation that the women may have been involved with cartels, Olivarez emphasized that it is impossible to know the full details and that judgement should not be passed without all the facts.
