Family and friends of a missing Germantown man are searching for him as they express concern about his welfare.
Ankhet Begai, who is 30 years old, has not been seen in eight days.
He left a treatment center on Panthers Ridge Drive in Germantown last Sunday morning, and his loved ones have since distributed flyers and offered a $5,000 reward for information on his whereabouts.
Detectives in Montgomery County are also searching for him.
Begai’s family and friends believe he may be suffering from a mental health crisis, and they fear he may be in critical condition as he has not taken any medicine for his medical issues in eight days.
They are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the police.
Begai was last seen wearing a dark color jacket with light gray pants and white shoes.
