WJCL 22 News’ Andy Cole is joining us live from Gwinnett Street. Andy, what is the latest update? This incident occurred just before 9 o’clock this morning in the 500 block of West Gwinnett Street. When officers arrived, they discovered a woman who had sustained life-threatening injuries. She was immediately transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
Interestingly, this shooting took place less than 24 hours after the previous one on McAllister Street. Consequently, the police have apprehended the suspect, Robert Jones the 3rd, a 31-year-old individual..
