A 30-year-old man from Sarpy County has been charged with felony child abuse after allegedly slamming his infant son down resulting in the child’s death.
Forest Camp appeared in court today where prosecutors accused him of causing fatal injuries to his son on Wednesday, April 12th.
According to court documents, scans performed on the baby at the hospital revealed swelling and blood on the child’s brain, as well as healing fractures on the child’s ribs.
The judge set Camp’s bond at $1 million and ordered him to have no contact with minors under the age of 18.
If he posts bail, Camp will be subject to pretrial monitoring.
