San Antonio Bank Robbery Suspect Still at Large
San Antonio, TX – Police are on the hunt for a suspect involved in a bank robbery that took place on May 9th at Frost Bank on the far northwest side of the city.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 5 p.m.
near Dominion and Boerne Stage Road.
The suspect entered the bank, brandished a firearm, but did not demand any cash before fleeing the scene.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP or text their tip to 274637.
Day 2 of Murder Trial Reveals Startling Evidence
In an ongoing murder trial, jurors were presented with a crucial piece of evidence today.
Bobby Solis is facing charges for the 2020 killing of John Eric Garcia outside a West Side apartment complex.
The two individuals were allegedly involved in an ongoing feud and were believed to be associated with the Mexican Mafia.
The jury had the opportunity to listen to a recorded jail phone call in which Solis discussed Garcia’s murder with a woman.
According to the conversation, police classified the incident as an execution due to Garcia being shot in the back of the head.
Testimony in the trial is still ongoing, with updates to be provided on KSAT 12 News at 5.
If found guilty, Solis could face a sentence of life imprisonment.
Investigation Underway into Downtown House Fire
Firefighters are currently working to determine the cause of a fire that broke out in a residence just north of downtown San Antonio.
The incident occurred early this morning on West Poplar Street near San Pedro Avenue.
Fire crews arrived at the scene after receiving a call at around 6 a.m.
Although the house was expected to be vacant, the fire spread to the second floor and posed a challenge when it reached the attic.
Firefighters discovered that the windows and doors had been boarded up, suggesting that someone had gained unauthorized access and started the fire.
At present, there are no identified suspects in the case.
