Boston’s iconic local brewhouse, Sam Adams, has teamed up with the Boston Athletic Association (BAA) once again to release their seasonal 26.2 Brew.

The beer, which celebrates the world-famous Boston Marathon, is a light wheat ale that also contains coriander and kosher salt to provide a unique and refreshing taste.

Senior Brewing Manager Shelley Smith, who has run marathons all over the world, including Boston, announced the limited edition beer’s return.

The 26.2 Brew will be available at various locations in the Boston area, including the finish line and the two Sam Adams tap room locations.

Although the beer is meant to celebrate marathon runners, Smith says that anyone can enjoy it, whether they’re runners or cheering on the athletes.

Sam Adams and the BAA have been collaborating for 11 years and even have a dedicated hall at their Faneuil Hall tap room filled with marathon memorabilia.
