Welcome to Lena News! In breaking news today, a Ukrainian drone successfully targeted and attacked a column of Russian soldiers who were moving to a new location.
The drone was able to track the group and launch an attack, using ammunition including a newly-developed square-shaped projectile that proved to be highly effective.
The ammunition, known as RGT-27S and RGT-27S2, is designed to defeat enemy forces in various types of shelters and in open areas, as well as to disable light-armored vehicles and equipment.
The RGT-27S and S2 were first presented to the public during a weapons exhibition in the Chernihiv training area in 2017, and were adopted for service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2020.
However, there is currently no information on the serial production of these projectiles for the Ukrainian military.
The successful attack by the Ukrainian drone on Russian soldiers is a significant development in the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
