Cleanup operations are in full swing on River Drive in Moline following the receding floodwaters, which have left a significant amount of debris in their wake.
The current state of the road, as seen this morning, portrays the aftermath of the recent flooding.
Over the next week, the city’s dedicated crews, alongside the fire department, will be working diligently to clear the road and restore its functionality.
Additionally, officials will thoroughly inspect the thoroughfare for any potential damage caused by the flooding.
Assuming no significant issues are discovered, it is expected that Moline River Drive will be accessible to the public by the conclusion of next week’s efforts.
