Residents living near the Cincinnati Entertainment District in El Paso are frustrated with bar-goers who park their vehicles next to their homes.

This issue has led to concerns about safety in the area after shots were fired early Friday morning in the neighboring Kern place neighborhood.

El Paso Police Department (EPPD) has been patrolling the streets and increasing their presence to deter crime in the bar areas.

Sergeant Gomez of EPPD says that they are aware of the issues surrounding bar areas and usually have units out patrolling.

The EPPD hopes their presence will help reduce fights and crime in the area.

Despite this, residents are worried about their safety and the impact of the entertainment district on their community.
