I am Aaron Guy with your News to Go. The third GOP debate took place in South Florida on Wednesday night, featuring the top five Republican candidates for President. One of the key topics discussed was the conflict between Israel and Hamas. All the candidates on stage expressed their support for Israel during the attacks against Hamas. At the same time, former President Donald Trump held a rally in South Florida in Hialeah, where he outlined his plans if reelected as President.
He criticized President Biden on the economy, the border, and foreign affairs. Trump also repeated unfounded claims of election fraud and stated that there would be no wars in Ukraine for Israel if he were President. Meanwhile, in Martin County, potential sites for a new Brightline station are being pitched.
Brightline requested proposals from both Martin and St. Lucie counties for the E Treasure Cot station. Last month, Martin County Commissioners voted on proposing a station at the fairgrounds or downtown Stuart, near the county courthouse. They will meet again on November 29th to further discuss these locations. In terms of the weather, we can expect a daytime high today of around 84 degrees, slightly above the average.
