A fire truck belonging to the Spartanburg County Fire Department was hit by a car while working at the scene of a crash on Interstate 85 over the weekend.

According to the Duncan Fire Department, Engine 81 was hit while responding to a crash near Mile Marker 62.

Fortunately, no one from the fire department was injured in the incident, but the driver of the car that hit the truck had to be taken to a hospital.

The incident serves as a reminder for drivers to slow down and move over when emergency vehicles are present on the road.
