RV Home in Yuma Catches Fire, Prompting Concern Among Neighbors

Yuma, CA – A recreational vehicle (RV) parked on Seventh Avenue and Tenth Street in Yuma caught fire this afternoon, causing alarm among nearby residents.

The incident, which occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m., prompted a swift response from the Yuma Fire Department.

Upon receiving reports of a residential fire, firefighters rushed to the scene and discovered an RV engulfed in flames in the driveway of a home.

The sight of the blazing vehicle startled one neighbor, who hurried home fearing that her own property was in danger.

“At first, I thought they were trying to tell me my backyard was on fire because I have a lot of bushes at my house.

Then I looked and saw it was my neighbor…the next house over, and I just got worried,” shared the concerned neighbor.

Fortunately, the fire was extinguished before it spread to the adjacent home, averting a potentially catastrophic situation.

Miraculously, no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

However, a few vehicles parked near the RV sustained some damage.

The Yuma Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

While the exact origin remains unknown, authorities are working diligently to determine what led to this alarming incident.

Local residents are relieved that no one was harmed, and they commend the swift response and efforts of the firefighters in extinguishing the blaze.
