In August, two individuals from Redmond were apprehended by the police in Ben on suspicion of engaging in reckless driving. A video captured by the Ben police apparently exhibits their reckless behavior as they were seen drifting in a roundabout on Road and 18th Street.
The Bend Police initiated an investigation after receiving reports from witnesses, which eventually led to the identification and subsequent arrest of both drivers. The Ben PD has indicated that additional drivers may also face citations..
