Raising Cane’s, a popular chicken fast food chain, has opened its first location in Sacramento, bringing with it approximately 150 new jobs.
The restaurant, situated on El Camino and Watt avenues, offers the signature Caniac combos that the chain is known for, featuring chicken finger meals accompanied by their famous cane sauce.
The grand opening took place on May 4th, and locals have already been flocking to the new spot.
Raising Cane’s has ambitious expansion plans, aiming to open around 100 restaurants annually.
The Northern California region accounts for 10 to 20% of this growth.
Chris Ziegler, the regional vice president, expressed the company’s interest in the Sacramento market and emphasized the importance of finding the right site and timing for development.
With the addition of the Sacramento location, Raising Cane’s now has a presence in several nearby cities, including Roseville, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Davis, and Vacaville.
The opening of this new restaurant contributes approximately 150 jobs to the local economy.
Ziegler highlighted the company’s commitment to embracing diversity and promoting individuality among its crew members, with relaxed uniforms and flexible schedules.
Raising Cane’s has already opened over a dozen locations in Northern California, generating close to 2000 jobs in the region.
The arrival of the chain has left locals hopeful for further economic growth and the establishment of more businesses in the area.
Additionally, Raising Cane’s has plans to expand to Fairfield and Yuba City in the near future.
To celebrate the grand opening, Raising Cane’s held a raffle, giving customers the chance to win free chicken fingers for an entire year.
While some lucky individuals had the opportunity to indulge in the finger-licking goodness, others were left wishing they had won the prize.
Nonetheless, the excitement surrounding the new restaurant continues to grow, and many are eager to revisit Raising Cane’s for their delicious offerings, including the highly sought-after cane sauce.
