Olivia Pachado, a freshman at Brown University and native of Queens, has made history by becoming the first woman to play in an NCAA Division One baseball game.

Pachado, who joined the team as a walk-on utility player in the fall, can play several positions on the field.

She expressed her desire to be the best baseball player she can be and to inspire a younger generation of girls to follow in her footsteps.
