Procession Held for Fallen Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy

A solemn procession took place yesterday afternoon, honoring the life and sacrifice of Riverside County Deputy Brett Harris, who tragically lost his life due to injuries sustained in an on-duty traffic accident.

The procession, organized in collaboration with Moreno Valley and Perris communities, moved through the streets, paying tribute to the fallen hero.

Deputy Brett Harris, a dedicated law enforcement officer, passed away over the weekend as a result of a catastrophic brain injury suffered in a collision on Friday night in San Jacinto.

The procession commenced as two fellow deputies led the way, guiding the hearse carrying Deputy Brett Harris’ body from the hospital to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
