President Biden Meets Irish Prime Minister Varadkar on St.

Patrick’s Day

President Biden and Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar met at the White House on St.

Patrick’s Day to discuss the ongoing friendship between the two countries.

The leaders expressed gratitude for each other’s support of Ukraine and spoke out against Russia’s aggression.

They also discussed the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday agreement and the importance of the Windsor framework in relation to Brexit.

Prime Minister Varadkar thanked President Biden for his leadership and understanding of Ireland’s position on Brexit, and promised to roll out the red carpet for the President’s upcoming visit.
