The weather in New Orleans is currently warm and humid, with temperatures rising to around 80 degrees today.

There is a 10% chance of isolated showers, but most areas will stay dry, especially in the morning.

However, in the afternoon, some isolated showers may pop up before clearing out in the evening.

Tonight, the lows will be mild to warm, ranging from around 65 to 71 degrees, with a strong easterly breeze picking up.

Tomorrow will be another very warm day, with temperatures close to the record of 86 degrees set back in 1974.

There is also a 30% chance of rain and storms, and those in the north shore may experience severe thunderstorms.

A strong cold front will move south throughout the evening hours tomorrow, potentially bringing more showers overnight.

The risk of severe weather is low but not zero, with large hail and damaging wind gusts being the main concerns.

Temperatures will drop significantly after the cold front, with a high of 64 degrees on Tuesday.
