The cause of the collapse is still unknown, and investigations will be carried out by the resort management.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:50 a.m.
this morning, while Aurora firefighters were conducting training exercises inside the resort.
Eight firefighters were already present in the building, engaging in physical training by running up and down the stairs, when they received an emergency call regarding a structural collapse in the pool area.
Responding swiftly, they discovered that a component of the air conditioning system had fallen into the pool.
At the time of the incident, an estimated 50 to 100 people were present in the pool area.
To ensure the safety of both the victims and the firefighters, a technical rescue team was deployed to handle the situation.

The resort has directed all inquiries to Aurora Fire Rescue for the time being.
As the investigations progress, authorities and the resort management aim to determine the underlying causes of this tragic event.
The quick response of the firefighters already on the scene and the subsequent coordination between emergency responders and the resort staff were instrumental in ensuring the safety of the guests and minimizing the extent of the injuries.
