Witnesses report medics providing aid to the injured woman, whose condition is currently unknown. Further details reveal that a community service officer was approached by the woman, who proceeded to hit his car and claim she had a weapon. She then fled, crashing into the officer’s truck.
When two Ormond Beach police officers arrived, the suspect charged at them with a knife, resulting in two shots being fired. The woman was struck once and transported to the hospital.
