Police have released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting in Goshen Township where a woman was injured on February 28th.
The incident occurred on Pleasant Renner Road, and the footage shows a family member telling officers that he had disarmed his niece, who was inside the house with him.
However, upon entering the home, police found a different situation.
Gunshots are heard on the footage as police quickly exit the house.
The woman is seen at the front door, refusing to drop her gun and come out, and pointing it at an officer.
The officer fired and hit her, and she was immediately taken to U-C Medical Center in stable condition.
There is no update on her condition at this time.
