An investigation is underway following a police-involved shooting in the Clifton section of Staten Island.

Citizen video shows the scene at Syllable Court and Bowen Street, where police say officers in the area heard gunshots and saw a 29-year-old man with a weapon.

They say they told him to drop the weapon, but he refused.

One officer then opened fire, missing the suspect, who left the scene and was arrested a short time later.

Two officers were taken to the hospital for evaluation, and police say the suspect did not fire his gun.
