A man was arrested in Eustis on Thursday morning after threatening a woman at a local massage parlor to perform sexual acts at gunpoint.
The attack occurred at A1 massage on South Bay Street, and the victim reported that the suspect came in and pointed a weapon at her, then attempted to sexually assault her.
However, the victim fought back and was able to escape the situation.
Quick-thinking detectives helped get the suspect in custody soon after the attack.
Eustis Police Chief Craig Capri says 35-year-old Timothy Taylor is in custody on attempted sexual assault charges.
Police located Taylor in a wooded area near his home with the help of a law enforcement K-9.
The weapon turned out to be a pellet gun, which Taylor had put under the hood of his car to try to hide it.
Taylor has an extensive arrest history with several prior felony convictions, and is being treated for a leg injury from the K-9 during the arrest.
The victim, fortunately, was uninjured.
