Police have identified the suspect in a hit-and-run incident that led to the death of a cyclist in Asheville, North Carolina.

The suspect, 21-year-old Calvin Deon, is accused of hitting James Sharon while he was riding his bike on Grove Street last Wednesday.

According to police, Deon was driving a Honda Civic which was later found in a nearby parking lot.

He is facing several charges, including second-degree murder.

The police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
