Pizza Delivery Driver Becomes Hero by Tripping Suspect in High-Speed Police Chase
Tyler Morrell, a pizza delivery driver for Coco’s Pizza in Delaware County, unexpectedly found himself in the middle of a high-speed police chase while making his delivery rounds.
The chase was in pursuit of a stolen car from Upper Darby, which crashed on Preston Street in Middletown Township.
The suspects got out of the car and attempted to flee, but Morrell took action and tripped one of them with his quick feet.
The Brookhaven police credited Morrell for his heroic act, stating that he gave them the help they needed and allowed them to catch up to the suspects.
Morrell couldn’t use his hands as he was holding the pizza, but he used his leg to trip the suspect.
The police were able to arrest both suspects, and Morrell safely delivered the pizza after the incident.
According to the police, the suspects are facing multiple charges, and Morrell is being hailed as a hero.
He said that he was sick of seeing crimes like this go on and was ready to step up if anyone needed a hand or foot.
