Pizza Delivery Driver Saves 90-Year-Old Woman from Fall
A pizza delivery driver in Tampa is being hailed as a hero after he came to the rescue of a 90-year-old woman who had fallen outside her home.
Annie Goshen had gone outside to pick flowers when she fell and hit a rock, unable to get back up due to her injuries.
Luckily, the driver, named Joey, was nearby and rushed to help her.
Not only did Joey help Goshen inside her home, but he also called 9-1-1 and stayed by her side until paramedics arrived.
Goshen’s daughter praised Joey for his kind heart and expressed gratitude that he was there to help her mother in her time of need.
Ring video footage captured Joey walking Goshen inside her home and holding her hand as they waited for help.
The fall resulted in a fracture and bruising, which required an overnight stay at the hospital.
Goshen’s family fears what could have happened had Joey not been there to assist her.
Despite her dementia, Goshen has one request: to see Joey again and thank him for his kindness.
Her family hopes that this act of heroism will inspire others in Tampa to help someone in need.
