The Pike County Animal Shelter is organizing an adoption event to find homes for cats and dogs.
The event will take place on Saturday at Ace Hardware in Pittsfield from 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m.
Around a dozen furry friends will be available for adoption, and the shelter’s manager, Terry Lucas, has stated that most of the animals have been spayed or neutered and are up-to-date on their shots.
Additionally, the animals will be available at reduced rates.
In a previous event, a lady fell in love with an animal at the Farm and Home store and adopted it on the spot, surprising everyone.
