Amanda Wern, a pregnant woman from Phoenix, lost her unborn baby after being hit by an alleged drunk driver last week.
Wern, who was seven months pregnant, was on her way home with a friend when Leslie Yeager, a 39-year-old alleged drunk driver, slammed into their car.
Despite pleading with Yeager to call the cops, she refused and took off, leaving the scene of the accident.
Yeager was later arrested after a witness followed her.
However, court documents reveal that she hit an officer and expressed a desire to harm him.
Wern is now grieving the loss of her son and dealing with significant medical bills.
She is also angry that Yeager, who is facing several charges, including manslaughter, is out on bond.
