The Phoenix Police Department has released some new information regarding the ongoing situation. Osborne Street, just west of 19th Avenue, remains closed as the authorities establish a perimeter and conduct door-to-door searches for the second suspect. According to the latest update received just before 4:30 am this morning, there was a report of a burglary at a business in the area.

When police officers arrived, they discovered signs of forced entry. Two suspects fled from the business, and gunshots were heard in the vicinity. One of the suspects was quickly apprehended while hiding inside a nearby car. However, the second suspect has yet to be found, which is why the area remains closed off.

Thankfully, there have been no reported injuries thus far. law enforcement officers have been actively searching the neighborhood, going door-to-door, and even utilizing a drone to search for the suspect, including rooftops.

The distance between the location of the burglary and the spot where the first suspect was detained is approximately one city block. Osborne Street is currently closed in both directions as the authorities maintain the perimeter in the hopes of locating the second suspect..
