Three teenagers have been arrested for the murder of a Phoenix homeowner during a botched burglary.

Manuel Hinojos, aged 26, was shot and killed after he confronted the teens at his home near 29th Avenue and I-10 earlier this week.

The incident occurred when the teenagers attempted to burglarize Hinojos’ home, and he confronted them while carrying a weapon.

One of the suspects was shot and later released from the hospital before being taken into custody, while the other two were arrested and are currently behind bars.

The police have not released any further information regarding the suspects or their charges.
