A paramedic was assaulted at Savannah’s Plant Riverside District on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred after Chatham Emergency Services received a call about someone passed out in the lobby bathroom.
The paramedic was hurt during the incident.
The Plant Riverside District was hosting a community event that included trucks, a kids’ zone, vendors, music, and more.
The investigation into the assault is ongoing.
