The 5th annual “Hot Rods for Heroes” car, truck, and bike show was held in Oviedo on Saturday morning.

The event, presented by Honor Flight Central Florida, honored many Hometown Heroes from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

Vintage airplanes flew over the car show as veterans and their families reflected on their service and sacrifice.

The proceeds from the show will go directly to providing free flights for veterans to national memorials honoring those who served.

The late Colonel Joe Kittinger was also honored with a wreath at the event.

The community came together to appreciate and honor our veterans, and law enforcement also had a chance to show their support.
