Orban Makes Controversial Statement about Transcarpathia, Cut from Airwaves
Viktor Orban has once again voiced his claims on Ukrainian Transcarpathia.
Remember this quote because once again, our somewhat western neighbor’s unexpected rhetoric is causing losses for Ukraine.
According to Orban, a part of Ukraine is ancient Hungarian land.
During a radio interview, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, responded to questions about Hungarians in Transcarpathia.
However, these words were later cut from the airwaves.
Later, the full version of the interview was uploaded, but the program recording was eventually removed from YouTube.
Let’s recall that since the start of Russia’s full-scale attack on Ukraine, Orban’s government has been slowing down sanctions and considering isolating the aggressor country.
Furthermore, Orban stated that Ukraine needs permission from the Russian Federation to become a member of NATO.
