In a tragic incident that occurred this morning, one person was killed in a shooting in Oildale, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place on Barnett Street, just south of China Grade Loop, at around 10:30 a.m.
The victim was identified as a man, but no further details have been released as the investigation is still in its early stages.
The KCSO has not made any arrests yet and is continuing its investigation.
