The 25th Annual St.
Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade took place in Old Sacramento on Saturday, alongside the March Madness activities already happening downtown.
The festive event brought the Luck of the Irish to the waterfront area, with people of all ages donning green and lining the streets to experience various Irish traditions.
Live music, dancers, and historic reenactors were just some of the attractions on offer.
For basketball fans attending March Madness games at the nearby Golden 1 Center, the festival was a chance to secure a little extra luck before their big games.
The event was a great opportunity to showcase the vibrant culture of the region to both locals and tourists, and attendees left feeling proud of Sacramento’s diverse offerings.
