In breaking news, officials are currently conducting a search and recovery mission at Lake Eloise in Winter Haven, Polk County for two adults who are believed to have drowned on Saturday.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received calls just before 5 pm on Saturday, and their Marine unit is currently on the scene.
Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area until further notice as the recovery effort continues.
