North Ogden community members came together for a vigil on Saturday to mourn and honor the Roberts family, who were victims of a shooting and fire incident that occurred just over a week ago.
Scott Roberts was killed in the incident while his wife Jodi survived the attack.
The vigil was held at Mountain View Park where volunteers arrived early to set things up.
According to investigators, the tragedy unfolded when Scott’s brother Jeffrey Roberts came to the house from California and shot his brother and sister-in-law before torching the home.
The house is now uninhabitable and a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the surviving wife and Roberts family.
The vigil was a chance for the community to come together and show support for those affected by the tragedy.
The incident has shocked the quiet town of North Ogden and authorities are still investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting and fire.
