Massachusetts residents are bracing themselves for power outages as a nor’easter is expected to bring heavy, wet snow and high winds.

Eversource, the utility company, is bringing in crews from as far away as Texas to help with power restoration.

The storm is anticipated to be impactful and may cause power outages due to the high winds and heavy snow.

The company has already stationed 800 crews across the state in preparation for the storm.

Meanwhile, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is also ramping up its network to provide assistance.

Those with generators are advised to ensure that they are in good working order before the storm hits.

However, power restoration may take some time due to the weather conditions, as crews cannot work in high winds or with downed trees.

Massachusetts residents are advised to take necessary precautions and be prepared for potential power outages.
