A New York grand jury is expected to reconvene this afternoon to potentially vote on charges against former President Donald Trump as part of an ongoing investigation into hush money payments.

The grand jury has been meeting on Wednesdays at around 2 p.m.

Eastern Time, and it is unclear at this point whether there will be another witness called to testify.

If not, prosecutors could put the case up for a vote, and if 12 grand jurors vote to indict Trump, the indictment would be sealed.

It is possible that Trump’s legal team may not find out about the indictment until prosecutors reach out to them again.

The former president could potentially reveal the indictment on his social media platform.

More security and police presence has been observed in the area, with an episode of Law and Order coincidentally filming nearby.

More information is expected to come out later this afternoon.
