The warm weather continues to bring pleasant conditions to New Orleans as temperatures rise by around ten degrees from yesterday afternoon, with most of the city experiencing temperatures in the middle to upper seventies, and some areas reaching 80 or 81 degrees.
The mostly sunny skies will continue through the evening, with mild temperatures falling through the seventies into the sixties under clear skies.
The next day will see another warm day with temperatures moving into the lower eighties, followed by a chance of rain on Friday as a cold front moves across the area.
The storm prediction center has put the area under a level two slight risk and a level one marginal risk of severe weather with the possibility of localized flooding, but the risk is relatively low.
The weather is expected to clear up by Saturday.
