A new bill seeking to criminalize the installation of GPS tracking devices on personal vehicles without consent has received broad bipartisan support in the Nevada legislature.

The move comes after a high-profile tracking case involving Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, whose car was found to have a GPS tracker installed on it without her knowledge while she was getting it serviced.
