Highland Park residents in California have been receiving mystery Uber Eats deliveries for several weeks and they can’t figure out why.
People in the neighborhood are confused and some are even irritated by the unrequested deliveries.
Bags of food and drinks keep showing up at their homes, but they didn’t order them, and they are not being charged for them.
The names on the packages are not theirs, and different names are being used.
Some people are worried that it could be a ploy to see if anyone is home or a potential scam.
One man reported receiving 13 deliveries in one day, all of which he did not order.
The deliveries have been coming from Uber Eats, Doordash, and Postmates.
It’s unclear why this is happening, and it’s challenging to contact customer service representatives to get answers.
