Residents of the Silver City West mobile home park in Morro Bay, California were forced to evacuate once again as flood waters rose on Friday morning.

The park had previously been flooded two months ago during a storm.

While the waters have since receded, residents were seen packing up their pets and belongings as a precaution.

Some residents, however, chose to stay and ride out the storm.

The city of Morro Bay declared a local emergency as creek levels continued to rise, leading to road closures and further evacuations.

Public work crews were also seen working to clear debris from the area.

This latest flooding has brought back traumatic memories for residents and businesses who experienced severe flooding during a storm on January 9th.
