Boston Marathon participant Christine Soutter from Framingham is running in memory of her son, Devin Suau, who lost his battle with DIPG, a brain tumor, at the age of 6.

Devin’s cause inspired a community to support him, and now they are cheering for Christine as she trains for her seventh consecutive Boston Marathon.

The Why Not Devin Foundation, which helps families with a child diagnosed with DIPG, was created in honor of Devin’s fight.

To date, the foundation has raised over $300,000, with the Boston Marathon being their largest fundraiser.

On Marathon Day, Christine sees signs of Devin everywhere, and every step she takes is a step closer to a survivor.
